November 3rd

I told you November was two-sticked and stern
a certain rickety myopia
concerned with boundaries
today, she melded into me,
my teeth hurting
sun dazzled
awkward after a bad start
tasting blood
worried about my body
instead of yours

a child read about
Madame Au Lait
She’s a cow.
