They said there were stars, final and absolute
I would lay down my colours at the foot of an altar
For an ounce of their light

Making a world from translucent darkness
Where wings unfurl in blessings

Words are insatiable masters, they bite my ankles
I would give up my ink to heal

Bring my own soft angels everywhere
Make you believe in starlit magic
Absolutely and without measure

When at this moment
I can hardly raise my hand to write.

How is your health Bart? I could not reach you since you have not accepted my friend request in F B. I learnt about your hospitalisation and messaged through Veronica’s FB messages to know more.
