Each time they move, the vajra shivers
Diamond manes shake the sky they roam in
Their collective thunder is the sound
Of emotions hidden deep in an amphora
Heart-energy, blood-energy they live in us
We try to hide their manifestations
They are seen as ungoverned, ungovernable
Black-white, piebald, Palomino
Children know them best, hold their hands
Up to touch the dust from their arrival
Watch them pass as incomplete music
Shaking at their alien power.
